This is a steam operated boiler feed water pump made by Weir of Glascow, Scotland in 1957.  It is in brand new, never used condition. The original owner bought it for a Stanley Steamer car. It was never installed. It can also be used on a steam tractor, steam boat, locomotive, or with a boiler for a stationary engine. Sometimes these small pumps are called "Steam Lizards" This pump comes with the original manuals and purchase receipt. It is "capable of delivering 55 gph at 30 dspm with and against 600 psi." Connections are 3/4 inch pipe thread. Dimensions are 26 inches long, 8 inches tall, and 8 1/2 inches wide.  It weighs 73 pounds.   From the specifications, it is a single cylinder, double-acting horizontal pump. Dimensions are: Pump 1 1/2 inch dia. Cylinder 2 1/2 inch dia. and Stroke 3 inches. It is cast iron. The pump barrel has a "Special Drawn Brass Liner."  The pistion, pump rod, vavles, and valve seats are stainless steel.  Please check my other listings over the next few days for more steam parts.
