This is a Welch Allyn Otoscope & Ophthalmoscope diagnostic kit. All components are in good condition with minor signs of wear. The battery compartment is clean with no issues to report. All components were tested and in perfect operating condition. The unit powers on perfectly and light is visible through the heads. The rheostat properly adjusts the brightness of the light as well. It's a very nice solid unit. The box included lists the model number of this kit as 96220 - Vet Otoscope/Ophthalmoscope Kit. This kit features the Pneumatic Otoscope head with the long specula (model 20200) and the Ophthalmoscope with standard, green and blue light filters (model 11720). The unit operates off of a rechargeable battery (included). The handle doubles as a charger as well, so if you need to charge it, simply unscrew the handle and plug it in any standard outlet! The battery included is an aftermarket Welch Allyn 72200 NiCd battery (3.5v). The battery was purchased recently so should provide you with plenty of running time, although no guarantees are made on the battery life. Replacement batteries are inexpensive and readily available online.
