This is a Welch Allyn Otoscope & Ophthalmoscope diagnostic kit. All components are in good condition with typical signs of wear. The battery compartment is clean with no issues to report. All components were tested and in perfect operating condition. The unit powers on perfectly and light is visible through the heads. The rheostat properly adjusts the brightness of the light as well. It's a very nice solid unit. This unit features the Pneumatic Otoscope head with the larger specula; the model number on the head is 20200. The Ophthalmoscope included is the 11600 model that has the clear and green light filters. The bulb in the Ophthalmoscope works, but is dim compared to the otoscope bulb, bulbs are easily replaceable on these units and there are many sellers on eBay that sell replacements. The unit operates off of a rechargeable battery (included). The handle doubles as a charger as well, so if you need to charge it, simply unscrew the handle and plug it in any standard outlet! The battery included is an aftermarket Welch Allyn 72200 NiCd battery (3.5v). The battery was purchased recently so should provide you with plenty of running time, although no guarantees are made on the battery life. Replacement batteries are inexpensive and readily available online.
