 Hi, I'm a welder, and I got tired of using duck tape to protect me from getting berries in my boots while welding!  I have also purchased a few different kinds of boot covers, that looked like moon boots!  They would un-snap and come undone.  They were just UGLY!!  They could see me a mile away!  The worst thing though! WAS THEY DIDN'T EVEN WORK!!!  These are a pair of welding Boot Covers, I call "Boot Chaps".  These have been the best thing!  I designed them about one year ago and I'm still wearing them!  They protect my shoelaces and help from getting weld berries finding their way in to my toes or the top of my foot!  OCH!  They are very simple and easy to put on and to take off, if you need to, but I always leave my on.  They look great,  They come in black or brown.  A nice dark brown, (not mustard color or light grey!!)  Us welders always wear BLACK or BROWN boots, that's right!! They are made of 100% split cow hide. I put a brass stud on each bottem side for weighing the ends down, so they don't curl up, besides, they give the Boot Chaps" alittle style!!   You lace them through your eye-lets,OR use the elastic cord that can wrap around the back and tied in the front with a lock cord.  They are light weight, so you have no extra weight to tire your feet.  I know after being on MY feet for over 10 hours a day, I don't need any extra weight, it makes a difference!!  They stay right where you put them.  AND THEY WORK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They look good, I don't have to take them off after work, because you can't really feel that there is something unsnapping off while you're walking. Anyway, I know you would be very happy and satisfied with my new "Boot Chaps" They fit most boot sized.  If you have an abnormal size, just let me know  :)  I can whip up a pair just for you!!!
