We are pleased to offer this New Unopened Ten (10) Pound Box Of Messer 6317L Stainless Steel Welding Rods/Electrodes. Diameter : 5/32" Stainless steel electrodes for all common grades. Applications: Similar to 316L but for high temperature creep strength. For use on chemical processing, petroleum chemical equipment, pulp, paper equipment and pollution control equipment. Lower carbon than 317. Use with AC or DC (reverse polarity) The Slik Stik line of stainless steel electrode is designed for superior weldability performance. This exceptional operator appeal is due to the specially formulated Slik Stik coating. This exceptional coating produces a smooth, spray-type arc which allows the welder to maintain shorter arc gaps with out the electrode sticking. This operating characteristic gives Slik Stik electrodes superior out-of-position performance, even when using AC low open-circuit voltage power supplies. The Slik Stik coating will also ensure dense, porisity-free welds because of its ability to resist moisture.
