Wells Index Head Assembly Complete spindle cartridge including retention system. Spins nicely - bearings feel good - a little preload resistance and no noise. The ballscrew feels very good. This machine was a trade in that someone started to retrofit - then went on to other things and it wasn't worth finishing. It is sort of sad because it was a nice accurate machine. I do have the spindle drive for this machine and will eventually list it. The limit switches are in place. The machine had 1270 line encoders so the ball screw is probably 5mm pitch. Return if you are not happy with it. Good opportunity to buy a spare or retrofit it to another application. We will work with you on shipping - so if the quoted Ebay shipping number seems too high - let us know and we can actually package it and see what our options are. Note the gear on the back was used for tramming the head. We will throw in the little worm gear that drives it. 30 day return. You must call for an RMA number prior to returning any item.
