One pound spool of Western Electric bus wire measures to be 24 gauge. While it is unused it has oxidized some. Shipping within the US48 is $12 and will be by USPS Priority or FedEx Ground. International sales are OK provided that international buyers agree that INTERNATIONAL SALES ARE AS-IS AND FINAL due to the cost of shipping and international shipping costs are not refundable – any international bid agrees to these terms. International shipping cost will be sent after the auction. Box is 4 pounds and is 9X12X7. The fine print – please read before bidding: Economy shipping does not include PO Boxes, I must have a street address. If you insist on shipping to a PO box you must pay all shipping expenses – sorry but I just can not pay more to ship than many items plus shipping bring. Please make sure that your address is correct with PayPal. Shipping requires a phone number (so the driver can contact you) and if you don’t send it to me there may be a delay in sending - if you don't include it and your address is not correct there may be delays. Especially overseas buyers - please update your PayPal information to include the phone number - even if you email it to me I have to go look to find it and it may delay shipping. Primarily I build and calibrate electronic equipment used in research but all kinds of electronics stuff comes through my shop. I describe everything as well as I can. I sell electronics stuff and things do break, yes occasionally in shipping. I do not sell broken junk (unless it is listed as parts/repair) – if it doesn’t work or you are unhappy let me know and we can work something out that I am sure will make you happy. If you leave negative feedback without contacting me – it’s yours dude. Payment is expected within 3 days on auctions and PayPal is required without prior approval. Buy-it-now requires immediate payment through PayPal. I do not end auctions early except for those items with Buy-It-Now. I may be out-of-town during part of, or near the end of, the auction. I will answer/invoice as soon I can but it may be one or two days after your email or the auction end because of my travel. In the past I haven’t mentioned this but recent circumstances requires me to publish this: On many items, especially vacuum tubes, there will be ultraviolet ink marks. They do not show in normal light and while durable, they can be cleaned off, especially with ammonia cleaners. They must be visible on any returns. Regrettably a few people will buy good stuff and then try to return their bad items for refund. If you are surprised that anyone would attempt this (and so many other not-so great ideas) it is unfortunately the world today. Any such attempts will be reported to eBay and any other authorities. INTERNATIONAL BUYERS: I can not ship to Belarus, Burma/Myanmar, Cote D' Ivoire (Ivory Coast), Cuba, Iran, Italy, Japan, North Korea, Russian Federation, Sudan, Syrian Arab Republic, Zimbabwe, or any country where I can't insure. Other buyers outside the US are OK - but discouraged on heavy items. I try to be understanding that some items are highly desired elsewhere in the world and I will try and work with you but: ALL OVERSEAS SALES ARE AS-IS AND FINAL. International shipments may take 5 to 7 days for us to process. I have no control over the time the shipping may take. Because of custom issues, cost of shipping and the fact that overseas buyers have abused me – ALL OVERSEAS PURCHASES ARE FINAL AND AS-IS. International buyers should have at least twenty positive buyer feedbacks and no negatives, otherwise I reserve the right to cancel the bid. I will email shipping costs to other countries AFTER the auction. Customs duties are the buyer’s responsibility. General International information: Most secure and generally fastest (six to ten days) is US Priority International Mail but that may be too expensive except for small items. When cost-effective and safe for the item shipped I will use the Flat-Rate Priority Mail International boxes. For small items First Class Mail International is limited to four pounds or less and is cheaper but may take weeks to some countries. First Class Mail International may also be less secure (Insurance may be limited or not available) but I haven’t had any problems. Really large and heavy items (weight varies but usually for 15 to 20 pounds or more) will usually go by Fed Ex International Economy and charges may be very high. I will try to use the least expensive method; although it needs to be stressed that FedEx may be safer and faster than going through the mail system because there are fewer customs hassles.
