Vintage Weston Electric Instrument Corporation Model 1023 Knots Meter, 0-1000 knots, vintage 1940s, used by Western Electric in a test system.  This meter is a ruggedized sealed, Mil-Spec type instrument.  It is in very good condition with some minor scratches.  Its history is not known, but it had been in dry storage at Western Electric for many years, and it is fully functional.  Ref. T018
“This Weston Electric Instrument Corporation knots panel meter is sealed, vintage 1940s, and is a ruggedized, mil-spec device that works but has not been calibrated. It is highly likely that it is completely functional withing normal operating ranges. The meter has some very small minor scratches and marks, but it is completely intact and in very good condition. It is a vintage meter in great condition, especially for its youthful seventy-two year age.”
