The Wheelock Strobe Speaker in white with model number ET70-24MCW-FW 109021 is part of the ET Speakers & Speaker Strobes series that offers various benefits. These include high audio output and clear audibility, as well as field selectable input voltage ranging from 25/70 VRMS and field selectable taps up to 8 watts. It is also compliant with NFPA, UFC, ANSI 117.1, OSHA Part 29, 1910.165, and ADA requirements. It has an extended temperature range of –31°F to 150°F (-35°C to 66°C) and is weatherproof, making it suitable for outdoor use. This Wheelock Strobe Speaker also has dual-listed strobe models (UL 1638 and UL 1971) with the industry’s highest strobe candela options. It has synchronization capabilities using Series SM, DSM Synch Modules, with MTWP and MT-12/24 audible non-sync. It also has models with field selectable tone, dBA, and candela settings and can be mounted on walls or ceilings. It also has surface or semi-flush mounting options with IN/OUT wiring termination that accepts two #12-18 AWG wires at each terminal. You can use this Wheelock weatherproof speaker in conjunction with Wheelock PS-24-8MC Power Supplies or SM/DSM Sync Modules to synchronize it. It meets NFPA 72 synchronization requirements, and the horn output of horn strobes can be controlled independently on 2-wire circuits using Wheelock's patented sync protocol. MTWP horn strobe models are 4-wire appliances that allow you to synchronize strobes while the audible can be connected to a coded fire alarm system or produce any of eight selectable tones.
