OSHA Compliant Low Volt 19" LCD Multi-Media LCD Screen This is one of the top selling LCD monitors in the Dental industry and Health Science schools. It meets OSHA requirements by being Low volt, 12 Volt DC, and has a sealed front glass screen so that it can be wiped down and disinfected. Basically, if you have an LCD or TV with-in one meter of your patient chair, you are supposed to disinfect it. Sadly, many offices do not. If you wipe a standard LCD membrane panel with most any disinfectant, it will start to rot and destroy the membrane display panel, or liquid may enter the LCD frame and short it out, or worse, cause a fire. OSHA also recommends low volt, DC powered products in areas near the patient or areas near moisture. This LCD is LED Backlighted to save energy. It comes in a medical white colored frame and is perfect for the operatory or surgery room. It's 1,000 to 1 contrast ratio is ideal for viewing patient X-rays, camera images, and Patient Education videos. The ET19ATM-2 has VGA,DVI, HDMI, Component, Cable TV, S-Video, and RCA Analog video inputs. These units are packaged to be mounted to a chair post, wall, or under cabinet mount as shown in the pictures. It does not come with a counter-top base stand. The Mounts shown in the pictures are for illustration purposes only and are not included with the LCD's.
