It has been sitting around for years and shows some shelf ware. Pneumatic Separator. The pipe size says 3/4 but it looks like 1” to me. Application Primary air filters are designed to separate liquid water and rust, scale and debris from the air lines. They should be installed upstream of the regulator or lubricator to prevent contamination from reaching other components. Water is removed mechanically by the deflector which causes the air to move in a swirling motion. The condensed water droplets are then centrifugally impacted upon the I.D. of the bowl and migrate down past the quiet zone baffle to the water sump.
