this is for one Wiltron 6640A Sweeper 26.5 to 40 ghz Signal Generator,  so heres the low down on this model. I read the spec sheet and its not a good cw generator since its not phase locked and has no amplitude levelling control internally though I think it can probably be controlled with an alc however Im not sure. it puts out a constant stream of +5 db , I couldnt check the flatness because I dont have the right waveguide adapter(nor cable rated past 26 ghz) so I just had to put the waveguide pointing into my 3.5mm cable with 26 ghz rating. seemed to do the job, just lost about 3 db-6 db of gain or so. you can see in pics particularly at the top end it does say unlevel on the led but I think its probably  normal since this model is identical to the lower ghz models but the lower ghz models have built in levelling , but this particular one was not designed with it so the spec sheet says. also the more expensive 40 ghz models say unlocked when it sweeps and locked in cw mode and thats normal apparently . this is a barebones 26.5 to 40 ghz sweeper and it excels more at sweeping than cw. in cw mode its off by 20 to 50 mhz in freq accuracy, im not sure if this is within or outside spec since its such a simple budget model generator. its really lightweight for an old model because it doesnt have much to it. there is no real filtering of the harmonics I can see  which can be a good thing if you need it to sweep an unflat 50 ghz as shown in pics. Im still wondering how flat it would have been with the right waveguide to sma adapter.  the signal it puts out is fairly clean if it was phase locked as shown in pics ,(but since its not freq bounces left and right) I hear you may be able to phase lock it to a counter but I have no idea what thats all about. it mentioned that in the spec sheet which I can include with it. for the right application you could be very happy with this budget model but for anyone using it for calibrations or tight measurements its not recommended. you will need to shell out 5000$ or so to get that in this freq range. I cant guarantee this will pass or fail cal specs but it does work for the most part as its intended to and may be calibrateable  to be more accurate. I have no experience with this model.
