Easy Setup This flood sensor is powered by 3 of AA batteries (not included). After a programmable sleeping time the device wakes up and sends status information to the Z-Wave controller. Full Audible Alarm Sound + Z-Wave Alert This wet flood detector will generate 60-dB audible alarm beep, which will go away after 30 seconds or when the wet sensor probe becomes dry, whichever happen first. Meanwhile it will also have LED flash and report its status to the node ID upon flood detection. Once water is released and the ground is dry again, it will report to the node ID as well. LED Indication The unit will give a visual LED indication on the device when sending a warning to the Z-Wave controller or when batteries need to be replaced. When water is detected, the orange LED will flash one second every 1 minute and beep for 30 seconds and transmit radio signal to controller (option) simultaneously. In normal mode, this water detector is allowed to be activated once in one minute, avoiding false trigger. When water is released, the green LED on the detector will illuminate once and emit radio signal to controller (option). When the battery level on the detector drops to a certain level, the red LED will flash once every 30 seconds and radio signal will be transmitted to controller (option). Z-Wave Protocol This wireless water/flood detector module is a Z-Wave enabled device which is fully compatible with any Z-Wave enabled network. The device needs to be included into a Z-Wave network by a remote control or any other Z- Wave controller.
