Two main features of this device. (1) Listening to / recording baby's heartbeat, hiccups, etc, in-utero. (This is apparently not successful for everybody, depending on all sorts of variables. But fun trying.) (2) Playing music, speech, etc., for baby to hear, as a super-early learning experience. The device has "stethoscope" and speaker built into the back. Includes original blue elastic strap for holding it in place. Works on a 9V battery, fresh one installed. The original headphone set is included and works, but poor mechanical quality - maybe you can glue or tape it as it IS very pretty. I include a NEW (black) headphone set. This takes any 1/8" stereo plug and can use two headphone or earpod sets at a time, or one and a recorder. You can use the included audio cable to hook this up to record on any audio device taking a 1/8" stereo plug. To play music or other audio for baby, you need a playback device - tape player, CD player, MP3 player, etc. (The box originally included a Mozart CD, but no player. NEITHER is included.) Use the audio cable to connect it to the WombSong. (One user reported that her baby kicked hard when she played it too loud!) You can also connect a microphone to speak or sing directly, but microphone is NOT include. I couldn't find owners manual for this model, but I do have the manual for the similar Unisar BeBe Sounds device, which gives LOTS of theory and details of how to get the most out of this kind of device...... Loads of info about how long and how often to play the same music, VERY helpful.. Some details and options differ, but the concepts are the same. Simple Guarantee: If not right, I will make it right. Combined Shipping: If you order more than one CD or DVD, I offer to combine shipping, each SINGLE disc with its case etc adds $1 to shipping cost to USA address. You must pay for all in one payment to get full discount, so wait for combined invoice. By that I mean they play fine. If the disc is not MINT I will say so, but I still guarantee perfect play. Unless otherwise stated, CDs will include front and rear cover art and any booklet. Jewel case may have scratches. If it is cracked, I will replace it with one that is not. Unless otherwise stated, DVDs will be in an intact case, with cover art.
