ANY WHITE LINES YOU SEE IN THE ACRYLIC ARE REFLECTIONS. THE PLASTIC IS CLEAR AND FREE OF DAMAGE. While originally made to display die cast model cars, this solid oak and Plexi display case could have 10,000 uses in the office, at the shop, or in the home. At 22” across, 7.5” deep, and ~25” high... divvied into (5) 5” shelves... it’s the perfect size for a plethora of different collections; figurines, model cars, die-cast miniatures, action figures, small glassware, salt and pepper shakers… the list goes on and on! The shelves and cover are made of plastic but are remarkably sturdy. We put a solid brass scale weights on one of the shelves in the picture, and as you can see it held perfectly and solidly, so weight’s not gonna be an issue with this baby unless you happen to collect Dark Matter. The condition is excellent and we can't find anything really wrong with it, but if you can by some little imperfection we missed it would be minor enough to be buffed out with Novus polish. There's nothing deep or distracting anywhere on the plastic for sure. For the right (rather large) collection, this one is an invaluable display case, making your particular assemblage of knick-knacks and doo-dads appear cohesive, professional, and classy.
