Salsco wood shaving mill 40" by 9' box with 127 hp CAT Diesel engine. This mill was made in December 2008 and put into service in 2009. This mill is in good mechanical condition and just recently had a complete maintenance overhaul. New cutter head bearings and jack shaft bearings, a new clutch and pilot bearing and new box wheels installed. Unit has its own fuel and hydraulic tank. Mill is towable and has two axles with tires and electric brakes. Visit salsco's website for more detailed information salsco com. This mill is fully functional and in very good mechanical shape. Unit has always been under roof. I bought this mill new and I need to sell it due to health reasons. Included in sale in addition to the mill: Piper automatic knife sharpener with extra coolant and grinding wheels, 25 foot heavy duty belt conveyor with hydraulic motor, 10 foot out feed paddle Conveyor with hydraulic motor, 10 foot belt conveyor with hydraulic motor, many extra new parts, bearings, belts, chain, sprockets, filters, hydraulic motors, etc, 2 auxiliary hydraulic pumps variable speed that run conveyors, can run up to 4 conveyors at a time, all maintenance records, maintenance done by CAT, 3 sets (30) knives plus several spare knives that are new, jig set for knife grooving, remote control for starting and stopping the wood box. two remotes, one is a pocket remote the other can be mounted in a skid loader or whatever you plan to load logs with. I am willing to load the equipment on a truck for you free of charge or you can pick up yourself if you want. I can also help with scheduling freight service. Ten percent deposit due within 5 days of auction end. Balance due within 15 days. I accept wire transfers or credit card deposit.
