You can add your own bonding agent to the other paper-backed side as you prefer. Expert opinions vary for un-backed raw veneer. Cut veneer using a box knife or razor alongside a straight edge. Use contact cement for wood or paper-backed veneer and white or yellow wood glue for raw plain veneer. Apply pressure while the glue dries. You may employ most conventional finishing items after proper application. Staining or clear coating is also acceptable. Lastly, please note that sometimes, veneers may have minor tears or splits. These are typically repaired or taped and should not greatly impact satisfaction or quality. Wood products are not always perfect, and you may need to consider this natural imperfection at times. Surface sanding is often recommended before applying finish to remove any veneer tape or splice glue. All measurements are in inches, and if you win multiple auctions, we will combine shipping.
