For backed veneer products with 10mil paper glue backing, one side is covered in a glue substance applied by heat. The other side is paper, allowing for bonding with a desired adhesive. It is suggested to research the best method for working with raw, un-backed veneer products. Veneers can be finished with most standard products after proper application. Minor imperfections such as splits or cracks may occur, but do not significantly impact quality. Sanding is recommended prior to finishing. All measurements are in inches and shipping can be combined for multiple auction wins. Note that some splits may be present at the end of raw veneer products. Thickness of paper-backed veneers is approximately 1/40", wood-backed veneers measure about 1/25", and un-backed veneers range from 1/32" to 1/42". Cutting can be done with a razor or similar tool along a straight edge. Contact cement is typically used for applying paper-backed or wood-backed veneers, while white or yellow wood glue is preferred for raw veneer and requires added pressure during the drying process. This lot includes one piece of 48x97 Pecky Alder wood veneer, backed with 10mil paper and labeled as "EXOTIC" with the inventory code NXT 85. The total number of pieces in this lot is denoted by Xpcs. Other sizes and backed veneer options may be available. 10mil glue paper backed sheets can be sanded and inspected for a fee upon request. Please note that color adjustments have been made to the pictures, but exact color matching may not be achievable.
