This is good solution to small shop dust collection problems as it removes the deadly stuff that you can't see. Breathing wood dust is hazardous; smells great but murder on your lungs. Straight out of the box dust collectors, ones not modified with a baffle and good filter, just move the dust around, they don't take it out of the air. What's for sale here is a modified a basic 2 hp Harbor Freight single stage dust collector with a Thien baffle, so that the large chips flow into the lower plastic bag and the fine particles are blown out through the Wynn Environmental 0.5 micron filter. The whole assembly is in a soundproofing cabinet that is easily moved about on 4 casters.  Up to two 4" ducts can enter into the cabinet. Included with the dust collector is one 10' length of flexible Powertec 70111 dust collection hose. There are large piano hinges on each of the three MDF doors, allowing for easy access to the inside of the cabinet when you need to empty the 35 gallon lower bag. There's an on/off switch on the outside of the cabinet that controls the blower. The idea to make this collector came from an article in the 2-12-2013 issue of Fine Woodworking magazine, pages 46-51. The cabinet is made of 1/2" MDF, measures 24" deep x 43" wide x 74" tall, and can be removed from the collector by backing out the fasteners. Having the cabinet in place really cuts down on the noise. The dust collector, by itself, sells for $225. The Wynn filter, #35A, goes for $177, the 4" flex hose for $35.  This unit has been used fewer than 15 hours. It's basically new. I'll be moving and can't take it with me.  Because of it's size I can't ship it, at least not for a reasonable price. So it's pick up only.
