  Listing is for 8901A, serial 2925A05458 (whose connectorless front appears in 2nd photo). HP (aka Agilent, aka Keysight) 8901A was introduced in 1979 ($7500 new before options) and made at least until 1989 (my 3 serials span the decade), and its price almost doubled by production's end. You are getting it for a tiny fraction, still working correctly, with 14 day right of return. 8901A is similar in function to 8901B except it has no distortion meter. It is also similar in function (but bigger & sturdier) to Boonton 82AD, but HP includes an RF frequency counter that covers its range (from 150KHz upto 1300 MHz). Most of its specs are easy to find on-line. In brief, it measures AM depth from 0 to 99% and FM deviation to 400KHz. Op and Service manuals do come up for sale on eBay, but I don't have any to offer presently. Had 3 units, this is my last correctly working unit. Had them listed together but ebay asked me to list them separately due to differences, which I'm doing, but I'm not retaking photos. 1st photo shows an FM gen (not part of this sale) sending a 101.9MHz FM signal of 100% deviation (=75Khz by US FCC) into this earliest serial. Serial 2925A05458 works and has option 1 (all connectors at rear, for rackmounting), but is the newest (and presumably has the most life left in it). 2nd photo shows a 98.1MHz FM signal of 100% deviation being read (also as 75KHz).  Remember, I also have an inop/parts unit 8901A listed separately (with front connectors, if you want parts to make that rearrangement, or feel you might need other spare parts) at $230 BIN.  At BIN, I will also offer you a 10% discount on any other item you'd buy from me same day.  California buyers pay California sales tax.
