At BUY IT NOW, you get a working TDS340 scope with option 14 (rear interfaces), cord, fresh calibration (Tek would charge for a fresh cal what you're paying me for the entire good scope), and 14 days guaranty, ready to use. Instruction book is widely available online for free download.  If you offer less than BIN, you will get a non-working TDS340 (I left make offer in place so you could offer more for extras, not to be haggled down; please don't). The TDS340 is a 100MHz (500megasamples/sec) digital storage scope made circa mid-1996 and cost $2500 new. Compared to Tek 2465Bs I specialize in, it seems a bit fluffy, but it does something 2465Bs can't: store. Compared to 2440s, it also seems fluffy. Compared to TDS320, it adds a real time calendar/clock.   It includes TV Sync. It operates on 90 to 250 Vac (no need for 115/230 switch, or worrying about forgetting to move it across borders). It is lightweight, about 15# or 7Kg, ideal for field service.    First photo shows it passes self tests, doesn't prove much. 2nd photo shows a 2Vpp 1KHz square wave being fed and measured into both channels. 3rd and 4th photos show a 1Vpp 1MHz fast rise signal fed into both channels, 4th is more horizontally expanded, and frequency measuring system wants 3 edges (1 is not enough) to display a result. 5th photo shows a .5Vpp 50MHz sine wave fed into both channels where there isn't yet loss of amplitude. In 6th photo frequency is raised to 110MHz (amplitude from gen stayed constant) and some loss of amplitude consistent with a 100MHz scope is seen. Scopes offered is serial # B016456. Last photo shows a typical probe you can add by offering me more... read...  Scope has a 20 year old Li battery backed NVRAM and timekeeping clock (DS1644-120). If you want me to add a new (2015 date-coded) NVRAM, I can do so for $45 more. If you'd like me to replace that soldered in 28 pin IC with a new one (and install a socket to make it easier next time), please be prepared to pay me $500 more (this less than what Tek would charge) on top of its BIN price. I will also extend guaranty to 6 months for that extra money, and add 2 Tek P6105 10:1 100MHz probes (with readout encoding, each of which cost $150 new from Tek, a P6105 is seen last photo).    California buyers pay sales tax.  I leave feedback after you do. I ship worldwide. Ebay offers now a cost effective global shipping service to many countries, whose calculator is included for this listing. USPS Airmail does not satisfy tracking requirements of ebay & paypal outside USA.  You get a 14 day right of return for refund or exchange, provided you don't breach tamper seals, return everything in same shape as received, pack it as well as I, and pay for all shipping. Please Note: as I'm selling this item below $600, I do not classify it as "seller refurbed", but it will be if you take me up on the offer that replaces NVRAM and adds probes.  BUY 2 INCENTIVE: If you BIN this one and want to buy another scope from me same day, I will offer you a 10% DISCOUNT on another.
