XCEL's carbon black 54" inch wide by 1' foot and 1/4" inch thick closed-cell neoprene sponge rubber sheet is developed and manufactured in house in the US. This neoprene rubber sheet is designed to work as a sealant or weather proofing. This closed-cell rubber material is exactly the same type of material used in compression gaskets and will work as gaskets for water pumps, headlights/tailights, and pool skimmers. This sponge rubber sheet has a durometer of 40 Shore 00 or soft/medium. Since this is a closed-cell sponge rubber material, it's perfect for use as sound deadening in cars, trucks, or boats and can be used to dampen vibrations in recording studio monitors and subwoofer boxes. This neoprene sheet is resistant to most oils, solvents, and fuels. Due to the closed-cell structure, the material is naturally non-absorbent and can withstand temperatures between -40F and 158F. XCEL's neoprene closed-cell rubber sheet is very strong and has a tensile strength of 50PSI. This is a high quality product that is used by the largest automobile manufacturers for their gaskets. Made in the US from soft/medium closed-cell sponge rubber neoprene Same material as compression gaskets for headlights/taillights, water pumps, & pool skimmers Perfect as sound absorber/insulation for cars & echo dampers for studio monitors & subwoofers Great as weatherproofing/weather seal around windows, doors, & HVAC Water resistant material resistant to oils, fuels, and many solvents
