Xerox ChannelBind System 20 Binding Machine For sale- a Xerox ChannelBind System 20 Binding Machine. It looks like ChannelBind is now a standalone company, no longer part of Xerox, and the System 20 is a $999 product. So hopefully there is some support available from them, as I think this one is broken. More info is available here on the ChannelBind website. There is a crank on the front of the machine, lower right. When I turned that nothing happened. I assumed it would be used to adjust the binding size settings A through G, but the indicator remained parked on G. When I pulled on the crank it came off in my hand. You might be able to repair that with just what is represented here or with a bit of additional ingenuity. Or you may need new parts from ChannelBind, in which case it would make sense to ascertain that ahead of time. Given that I am selling it for parts or repair no returns will be accepted and given the weight of the thing and the shipping costs involved a return wouldn’t be all that practical to begin with. So again, you should do your own homework prior to purchase. Once it ships it’s yours to keep. Comes with the two items flanking it on either side in the first picture. The piece of the right is clearly marked, that is a ChannelBind DeBinder, Item #10570. The piece on the left is clearly part of the equation based on the pictograms on it, looks like maybe it would be used to pull the piece being bound down into the binder and hold it in place. But I don’t have any idea what to call it. So that’s it, the big main piece and the other two items as pictured. If anything else is required for binding you will have to source it somewhere else.
