Xitron Blue Box USB Interface for Scitex T-2 + Interface Cable and Power Supply. Condition is "Used". Pulled from working environment, drove a Dolev 800. We are downsizing so we no longer need this. We have a smaller imagesetter which requires a different interface, therefore, this one is up for sale. We have included the interface cable from the box to the imagesetter as well as the power supply. No other cables or software is included. If not, here are some details from the Xitron website: The innovative "Blue Box" is your connection between a RIP or TIFF catcher and your computer-to-plate engine or imagesetter. It replaces the old PCI card that was originally used to cable the PC to the engine. The key to prepress independence®, Xitron’s unique USB interface bridges the connectivity gap between output device manufacturers and prepress workflows. Used in conjunction with Harlequin-based RIPs such as Navigator, or with Xitron’s Raster Blaster TIFF Catcher, the “Blue Box” communicates raster data directly to CtP and film imagers. This allows prepress professionals the opportunity to choose workflows, RIPs, and output devices independently of each other, often extending the lives of their expensive imaging systems.
