!!!NEW!!! This is the hard to find ANALOG  YASKAWA/MAGNETEK CIMR G37A52 0020 VFD MOTOR CONTROL (at a price way lower than the original dealer list price!) and it is brand new!  FIVE (5)* HP 17.5 AMP (*Need a smaller, less expensive control?  I have a One (1) HP  analog Yaskawa unit and a 3/4 HP digital Magnetek 403  listed for sale: Check out my other items! ) For those of you with a need for a forward/reverse, variable speed motor control, this is a good way to go.  But, fortunately, with most of the currently available controls, along with those capabilities comes a bunch of other features.  I've had a long history with the earlier MAGNETEK / YASKAWA motor controls. . . (at one time or another I've had almost the whole GPD line in use in my shop and I've always had top service from them).   For my lathe applications I still prefer and use the earlier models.  I guess I'm 'old school' but for a lot of my shop operations I feel much more comfortable with 'analog' controls...faster for me to make instant 'on line' changes and adjustments. (By the way, this unit is the Yaskawa model of the Magnetek one I use to run my IMPERIAL lathe.  My spindle motor on the lathe is only 3 HP and the added amperage output of the control easily runs a hydraulic pump and a router head at the same time.)  I also have the output wired to a stack-pole switch with stops at; SPINDLE, SANDER, ROUTER and AUXILIARY.  The first three (spindle, sander and router) are functions of/on the lathe that I use almost on a daily basis BUT  never at the same time,  so it would be redundant and 3 times as expensive to have a control for each function.  The AUX setting is for a 3 Phase outlet and I have 4 different machines in the shop that I run at various times, simply by plugging into the outlet and running the Remote Operator Control to the in-use machine.  Bottom line: I run seven operations from one control...helps my bottom line!  This is especially effective since I'm a one-man shop. The Yaskawa issue (of the Magnetek Lancer 702) labled Juspeed-F Series has been able to perform every job app I've thrown at it...and still has many functions I've not had occasion to use. These units come with an installation/operator manual that runs between 20 to 60 pages so obviously I can't cover everything they can do in this description so if you have a particular question please feel free to ask, I'll answer promptly.   Some of the features available to this series/line are:  full torque (power) at virtually any speed (up to twice the motors' rated speed) and variations you can choose for different applications and needs.  I constantly use the ramp up / ramp down speed settings;  if I'm doing a sanding operation on small parts with very little mass (an example is sanding flutes in both forward and reverse directions on the lathe to clean the edges of the cuts on wooden kitchen utensils) I set the ramping feature for perhaps 1-2 seconds from high speed forward to stop to high speed reverse.  Then I just flip the toggle from 'forward run' to 'reverse run' and that's all... the 'ramping' deceleration  to stop is automatic, the change in direction is automatic, and ramping up to speed in the new direction is automatic.  lf I'm doing the same kind of operation on a large piece (say, 15" dia X 84" long, that maybe weighs 300 lbs, I can set the ramp-to-stop feature to up to 2 minutes (!)  to accommodate the stopping and reversing of a much larger mass....and all with the single flip of a paddle switch.  These controls are set up to accept limit switches for change of operations as well as counters and timers, and even have an auxiliary 5-10 volt transformer source should you need it).  One of the features I use often is the AUTOMATIC variable speed during a single pass.  With the use of proximity switches I can set the main spindle to slow the revs at a large diameter section and speed up for a small diameter, all at my pre-set speeds... in effect ramping up and down at pre-set sections that need that.  In that way I can save the cutting tool from overheating as well as treating the material being cut to correct cutting feet per minute/revs.      To do a lot of this magic usually requires a three phase motor...AND 3 Phase power.  This control can CREATE a true 3 phase from a simple single phase 220 volt source.  (NOTE:  When using a single phase source the horsepower capacity will be de-rated.  With a 3 Phase source this control can drive up to 7 HP, but with a single phase source it will only run up to 2 HP).   And once you begin using 3 Phase power you will use less electricity, the savings of course multiplied by the number of machines you have running at the same time. SPECIAL NOTE:  The next to last photo shows a close-up of a different control, the Magnetek 403 GPD.  In the photo (light blue face) is the switch (which is an on-off-on) with the legend: Fwd Run, Stop/Reset, and Rev Run.  This is the way I prefer the control setup, but the Yaskawa unit in this listing (see last photo) comes standard from the manufacturer with only a Run/Stop (on-off) switch, with no provision for a reverse operation.  Well, it is an easy change and I've included a suitable on-off-on switch, free of charge, for you to make the change with.    The specifications can be seen in the photo close-up(s), please feel free to ask any questions (through eBay message) So, offered here is: One NEW Juspeed-F With One 25 page installation/instruction/operating manual, (complete with full set-up and test instructions). And for those who would like, I offer my free advice (with no consultation fee) and help for your setup/situation.  I've also built up a fund of knowledge dealing with hydraulic tracer conversion for a simple metal lathe (or pattern makers wood lathe with carriage) geared primarily towards automating WOODTURNING duplicating operations.  I have a listing here on eBay for a primer instructional booklet with video as an introduction to the subject: HTOT, HYDRAULIC TRACING AND ORNAMENTAL TURNING.  Also, I usually have several tracer units available for sale (Logan, Cazenueve, True Trace right now) as well as motor controls like the one listed here (though they may or may not be listed...please inquire if interested). WITH FREE SHIPPING IN THE U.S.! AND. . . .WITH FULL 30 DAY RETURN POLICY! NOTE:  I'm in the process of going through my tool chests and storage cabinets, determined to liberate un-used items and tooling (gotta make room for new!) so please check back often (or add your name to my e-mailing list:  Be sure to add me to your favorites list!)  THANKS FOR LOOKING!   I accept returns within 30 days, buyer paying return shipping costs.   THANKS FOR LOOKING!
