You are bidding on a binocular tube for the Zeiss Primo Star microscope. This binoc is in new/unused condition. The Zeiss part # is 415500-1400. It is compatible with any model or version of the Zeiss Primo Star upright microscope. This binocular tube renders the standard reversed image. The viewing angle is a comfortable 30 degrees and eyepieces with up to a 20mm field of view are supported. Standard 30mm diameter eyepieces are accepted but not included in this auction. This is a siedentopf style head so the eyetubes, in addition to the standard interpupillary adjustment of 55-75mm, can also be adjusted to a low and high viewing position for added comfort and ergonomics. This tube mounts to the Primo Star microscope via the standard metal dovetail mount. It has a notched mounting system which allows rotation of the head on the microscope body without fear of it falling off. The head is in new condition with no issues. All optics and moving parts function as new. The photos show the actual item for sale. It will be carefully packaged for shipment after the sale.
