About This Item: You are bidding on 1 pound (454+ grams) of Zinc Chloride Anhydrous (ZnCl2). It has a purity of 99.0%. It is in the form of a coarse powder and chunk form (the chunks can easily be crushed inside a plastic bag by hand or with a mortar & pestle). It will be packed in a high density, wide mouth polyethylene jar and bagged. A MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheet) will also be included. Uses include – ceramics, catalysts, dehydrating agents, fireproofing, preserving wood, soldering fluxes, textile treatments, adhesives, glass etching, dry cell batteries, burnishing and polishing compounds for steel, electroplating, and parchment.
