The Zing 7110 RecycLockout universal circuit breaker lockout fits single, double, and triple pole breaker switches 0.3 to 0.6" high, 0.35 to 0.44" depth, with or without a hole, and has a 50% recycled and highly visible red plastic body that combines with a padlock (sold separately) to keep individual circuit breakers in the off position during maintenance or repair. It tightens with a screw, which is then blocked by the padlock shackle. The locking hole accommodates padlock shackles of up to 3/8" outside diameter. The lockout measures 15/16 x 3-1/3 x 1-1/2 inches (H x W x D). (H is height, the vertical distance from lowest to highest point; W is width, the horizontal distance from left to right; D is depth, the horizontal distance from front to back.) This device is part of a lockout/tagout (LOTO) safety procedure required at facilities where electrical circuits need to be isolated during maintenance and repair. Lockout/tagout (LOTO) safety procedures require that lockout devices meet Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) 1910.147(c)(5) standards for quality assurance. Lockout/tagout (LOTO) devices use color, warning labels or tags, and sometimes a physical barrier to help prevent machine operation or power activation during maintenance and repair. Zing Green Products manufactures environmental signs and safety equipment from recycled materials. The company, founded in 2007, is headquartered in Oswego, IL.
