We have here a Bowman Quad Cut Tap, made in the USA. This is a taper pipe tap, size 1/2 inch,14 threads per inch, national pipe thread, high speed steel or (1/2-14 NPT HSS) . Very lightly used like new condition in its protective packaging.
This auction is for a used quality Morse 1 1/4" - 11 1/2 TPI NPT pipe tap of High Speed steel. Tap is in good condition. All cutting surfaces appear to sharp and should provide good service.

I'm selling off individual taps from the collection of a retired machinist that used to do work for the US government and companies like Bridgeport. These taps were from his collection that he called the odd ones. They were all the taps that were unconventional in some way (some may not be).
