BEAUTIFUL - CLEAN- Lightly Used - high Class METAL SHAPER Excellent condition - often when we buy a used or second hand machine we have to take it down to clean and rebuild it- THIS Metal Shaper dose NOT require that - there are no signs that this BEAUTIFUL Shaper has EVER been put into Service or seen active every day type use. There is no apparent wear on the working parts. Metal Shapers are Making a come back into Favor - they do many of the jobs of milling machines and yet the use simple and cheap lathe type tool bits which cost a fraction of Milling cutters , and which are easy to sharpen- Metal Shapers are extremely versatal machine tools. this machine Shaper has the original Factory Vise, which alone is worth $1000.00+ - This is a Very robust yet elemental Shaper with no weak parts. It has Powered Vertical as well as powered X feed and 6 speeds. It is not to much larger than an Atlas or South Bend Shaper and is comes with it's Factory Stand or Base. I an very impressed with this Beautiful Honest Precision Machine. it is 2nd hand so selling it as is My guess is it weighs in at around , 700 lb so it will have to be shipped by truck - Buyer agrees to pay all actual shipping cost if buyer has connections with a shipping (trucking) company he may arrange shipping - I can have it delivered to shipping company's dock terminal etc. there are a few more pictures - 12 pics are not enough to show off Clean Machine. A New Machines of this Quality would Likely cost $10, to 15,000 IF they still manufacturing them. Shapers are Perfect for R & D Labs and Shops which specialize in Unique, Complex Items, Shapers are Ideal for cutting accurate Dovetail ways and Slides up to 12", and many other Parts.
