Huge 400 Ton (yes 800,000 pounds of force!) hydraulic, 4-post press. Two 24" X 24" platens included. One cored for heating or cooling fluid with NPT ports. Set up for maximum daylight of 7.5" without platens. Has timer and limit switch. New cylinder seals last year. Runs on 240/120 VAC, single phase (needs both with 4-wire plug). Has 2 pumps for fast cycle time. Posts are 3" diameter steel rods which can be replaced with longer rods to increase daylight (not stroke). We purchased it used for a development project and used it less than 100 times. Excellent condition. 36" wide and 31" deep at the base. 74" tall (on 3" "C"-channels that can be removed). Originally designed for pressing laminated plaques, but has many uses. Can be tested under power.   See 2 videos on YouTube.  Search for "James LaGrotta".  Contact me if you have trouble finding them. Costs over $30K new. Pick-up in Boonton Township. Zip code is 07005 to check the location if you're not familiar with the area. Press is very heavy (I estimate 8000 pounds). In garage with 10' X 10' door for easy rigging. I can help a private buyer take it apart and load it on their truck.  Professional rigger required if you send a truck to pick it up.  I can't commit to loading it as one piece. Bidders can inspect press prior to bidding.
