              I have for sale a 2 cylinder, 25 horsepower Ashwamegh slow speed diesel. These engines are also referred to as "Listeroids" as they are based on the Lister engine design. I bought this engine new over ten years ago and never used it. It was disassembled, cleaned inside & out and had the updated bronze timing gear installed. It has recently been pulled out of storage where it was started and run briefly. These engines are popular for off-grid power generation and many other DIY applications. This engine is hand-crank started and does not rely on an electrical system for operation. The weight of the engine itself is approximately 1200 plus pounds and it measures approximately 4ft tall x 2ft thick x 4ft wide. Crating and palletization for shipping is included in the price.                 This engine is only recommended for people with previous experience with Lister Type diesels and/or people with advanced "DIY" (do it yourself) experience. "Lister Types" require constant care and maintenance.  If you have experience with these types of motors you most likely know the rest of the details. Engines of this type are commonly used at remote cabins, homesteads and mining claims. This is a big, heavy engine that was made to last a lifetime.
