General Radio Company, Octave Band Noise Analyzer Model 1558-BP comes in it's own case and the microphone that comes with it has it's own separate case.The Cord for charging the battery IS included and functioning. It has it's battery which accepts a charge as shown on the meter in one of the pictures. It states on the unit to charge it for no more than 18 hours.I dont know how long the charge will last.
