I guarantee it will not be DOA. Comes Buffalo Filter PlumeSafe 602 Laser/ESU smoke evacuator, Footswitch, operating manual and power cord. Has a biomed label that was good through 12/2012 so it hasn't been long since this unit was in use. Uses standard Buffalo Virosafe Filter Cartridges. There is no cartridge included. This system has a suction control adjustment adjustable from 20% to 100%. There is also a LED filter life meter so filter use does not have to be tracked. A full line of replacement filters, tubing and other accessories are available from Buffalo filter and other online retailers. Recently there has been an abundance of new fitlers being offered on ebay. This unit does not use the RFID technology so aftermarket filters can be used. This unit can be used with or without the footswitch. When used with the footswitch the device will only run when the footswitch is pressed.
