Here is my NEMA 10-30 extension cord. It allows you to reach out away from your fixed wall plug an additional 6ft. Use on clothes dryers, welders, plasma cutters, air compressor and small electric stoves. The cord is almost 6 feet long, it is a "10ga" cord. This cord is made with a used sealed cord and plug set, the surface mount receptacle is new. Pictures are example pictures. The cord is only intended for indoor use in dry locations. If you want to plug your welding machine or electric cooking range into a clothes dryer outlet, because that's all you have and you flip your 30 amp clothes dryer breaker absolutely under no circumstances should you remove the 30 amp clothes dryer breaker and install a higher amp breaker. The circuit breaker is there to protect the wiring inside the walls. If your machine or appliance is flipping the breaker, that's because the circuit breaker is doing its job and you need to turn the machine down. Item has been tested. I plugged this adaptor into my testing rig and used it to power my clothes dryer and air compressor, it had 25 amps flowing through it almost constantly then 35 amps flowing through it for a few minutes as the air compressor and dryer ran together and showed no signs of heating up then tested the neutral with a 10 amp load (double what a typical clothes dryer runs on its neutral wire). I test all my 3 prong plugs before they get sent out.
