DOR-O-MATIC ASTRO-SWING R85425-988 COMPUTERIZED CONTROL BOX, NEW, $2,300 RETAIL!!! This listing is for Dor-O-Matic Astro-Swing computerized control boxes, model 85425-988. These units are suitable & compatible replacements for Dor-O-Matic models 85420-900, 85425-900 & 85425-400. These control boxes are new in the box, they're not rebuilt, refurbished or re-manufactured. While these items are older stock, we've taken them to our door guy to have them tested (yes, we have a door guy). He has personally powered-up, tested and cycled each unit in his secret laboratory and has given all of them a clean bill of health. He also informs us that these are very rare new and nearly impossible to find new (he spent days looking for them and he knows where to look). Any existing Dor-O-Matic Astro-Swing 85425's for sale are always rebuilt and range in price from $1,500 - $1,800 each!! He put a conservative value of $2,300 on these as they are new. We're only asking one-fifth of that price!!! We asked him about the 988 suffix and he tells us this allowed for the door system to accommodate additional safety sensors and that it is fully compatible with the above mentioned model numbers. Each unit has three, matching serial numbers: one on the silver label, one on the outer box and one engraved in the unit's aluminum body. These units can control single, automated swing-out doors from 36" to 48" in width with a maximum weight of 200 pounds. Alternatively, they can control a simultaneous pair of doors from 30" to 48" in width also with a maximum weight of 200 pounds per door/leaf. They have a 180 degree range of operation for each door it controls and operate on 115 Volts. So if your old door controller has turned into a mentally unstable cookie monster by gobbling up potential customers, don't replace it with a rebuilt controller, get yourself a new one!!
