Type K Thermocouple wire. Double Strand Twisted - Each wire is insulated with glass and then Stainless Steel and the two wires are twisted together. Why , you ask. I really don't know. Tell me if you do.Glass braid under stainless steel overbraid rated at 900f and has excellent wear resistance.. USA made. A lot of this stuff is flooding the markets from China it's cheap and you'll notice when your measures are way off. We do sale some of it, but this is not. This is American made high quality wire. Email for larger quantities or longer single pieces. We will be listing lots more wire, including less expensive types,but for quality this is a great wire at a great price. Look for our quick tip connectors to make Thermocouples directly from wire.
