Item recovered locally, untested and sold AS IS. This auction is for a Dukane Background Music Tuner Amp Model 1B2000, Untested.. This came in with a couple other related pieces of equipment, so don't know if they all go together or not, but check other listings. Looks to be in decent shape cosmetically, with a little discoloration on top of unit. Front panel has the tuning dial with DUKANE in top left corner. There is a small meter inside this tuning dial also, maybe signal strength. There are two larger dials: MUSIC VOLUME and TUNING. There are 5 OFF/ON switches in the bottom left corner: POWER ON/OFF, FM MUTE, SPEAKER (MONITOR) and SPEAKER (MAIN) and CONTOUR ON/OFF. There are three smaller dials under the right side of tuner dial and larger dials: BASS (MIN/MAX), TREBLE (MIN/MAX), MICROPHONE TEL. PAGE and PROGRAM SELECTOR, which has selections of AM, FM, AUX1, AUS2 (600 ohm) and MAG PHONO. Top of unit is plain, with some discoloration in spots. Back panel has a grounded power cord and A/C outlet, a swing up antenna, three banks of screw connections for assorted hookups (see pics, also small bank under swing up antenna for ANTENNA, with an adapter attached), a breaker, a slide switch for MUSIC/TEL. PAGE (both 600 ohm), and three white RCA type jacks for inputs (MAG PHONO, AUX1, AUX2). On bottom there are 4 round rubber feet. Looks pretty decent, but again I have nothing to use to hook into it, so can't test. Did plug in and no light came on in the tuner area, but when I turned knob to AM and started to turn the TUNING dial, the inner signal strength meter went up, (see pic), so very likely bulb is burned out. Also did the same with FM, and did the same thing, with needle deflecting up. Power cord is nice and heavy duty. Might work fine, might be for parts/repair, so to be safe, selling as such.
