This is an Eartec Simultalk 24G Wireless System INTERCOM interface with one headset, cable, and hard case You see the headsets that the coaches wear to talk to each other on Monday Night Football? These serve a similar function, allowing technicians, production crews, performers, and other co-workers to talk with each other without pushing buttons and with NO base unit. THIS SALE is for a kit that includes the INTERCOM interface unit that will integrate these two handheld units with a wired system. This was configured to work with ClearCom systems, according to our media people. These work really well, and we were happily using them for our media crew during athletic events until wifi was installed on our baseball field and basketball arena. Now, they work for a while, and then if/when the wifi system decides to use that specific frequency, they cut out. They operate in the 2.4GHz radio frequency as do some wifi systems, and since the specific frequency is set by dip switches, they don't automatically adapt. But if your environment either doesn't have wifi, uses the newer 5GHz wifi, or has wifi with a static frequency that can be set differently from these devices, they should work great. The Intercom unit has Velcro on one side so that one of the handheld "belt pack" transcievers can stick to it. They do not require any license to operate and they are certified for use worldwide. The set can be expanded with additional units. We have a set of 4 units available as a kit for sale separately.
