The U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) has issued new rules for the ORM-D shipment of Hazardous Materials aerosols, paint, cosmetics perfume, batteries, dry ice, fire extinguishers, safety equipment, medical or cleaning supplies, or ammunition, gas detectors , cartridges, small arms? The use of the old ORM-D classification and "Consumer Commodity" as proper shipping name, the combination which was only allowed to be used on domestic U.S.
