As with all footprint planes, the casting is machined and the base machine ground to provide complete accuracy. The frog contact points are also machined and the mouth is broached so that it is square to the sides. The handles are made from the traditional beechwood. Features A hardened and tempered blade with machine ground faces, sides, and cutting edge. Honed ready for use. Grey cast iron body. Machine ground base for smooth planing.
