HEWLETT PACKARD 3810A TOTAL STATION W/ ACCESSORIES THIS IS A HEWLETT PACKARD 3810A TOTAL STATION WITH ACCESSORIES.  THIS SET COMES IN TWO CASES.  THIS UNIT IS IN EXCELLENT WORKING CONDITION, IT POWERS UP AND SELF TESTS ARE POSITIVE WHEN USING THE DC ADAPTER, WHICH IS INCLUDED.  HOWEVER, THE BATTERY PACKS ARE OLD AND NEED TO BE REBUILT.  PLEASE SEE DETAILED PICTURES AND SPECIFICATIONS BELOW.   I HAVE MANY COLLECTABLE SURVEY ITEMS LISTED INCLUDING WILD HEERBRUGG, KEUFFEL & ESSER, LEICA AND SOKKISHA, SO PLEASE TAKE A LOOK AT MY OTHER AUCTIONS.  I AM HAPPY TO COMBINE SHIPPING WHEN POSSIBLE. Case with accessories.   One new old stock battery, and one used. The used battery will not hold a charge. The new old stock battery will hold a charge but not enough to operate the 3810a for a decent time period. My bench test operation pictures were taken using the 12 volt adapter shown below. Notice the locking clip for the battery on the left has broken off.   The battery on the right also is missing its locking clip on the backside. They would still be useable without these clips but again I want to mention that these batteries would need to be rebuilt for operational confidence. This is the "12 Volt battery adapter." This adapter connects directly to the unit with a long enough cord to hook to your car battery.   I used this when I took pictures of the 3810a self test shown below. Internal Self Test Please note: The hard rubber seal around the attenuator cap has been broken, however the glass is fine.  I have included a picture from the manual showing the cap as well as its stock number.     HIGH BIDDER TO PAY AN ADDITIONAL 90.00 FOR USPS SHIPPING WITH INSURANCE AND TRACKING (CONTINENTAL 48).   ITEM WILL BE SENT WITHIN ONE BUSINESS DAY OF PAYMENT, ALWAYS !   THANKS FOR LOOKING !
