Inter Med Bear 1000 Ventilator Model 8500-00 For sale- an Inter Med Bear 1000 Ventilator Model 8500-00. As you can see it comes with options 10022001, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, and 2011 installed, configuration code 1055. But I think the real selling feature for this one is that it only has a little over 214 hours on the clock, or less than 9 days of use. Just getting broken in as they say. So short of buying a new one I am guessing this is about as good as you are going to do. When powered up it initially tests all the LED segments as pictured. When it finishes with that it shows Gas Supply Failure and Failed to Cycle LEDs, and the audible alarm is A) enough to wake the dead and B) cannot be silenced with the Silence Alarm button because of the Failed to Cycle. Worse, it continues to sound off even after the thing is unplugged so there must be battery backup. Given the hours I think it would be premature for it to have some fatal flaw, so I am assuming that the fact that it isn’t hooked up to gas or a patient is the reason it wants to make so much noise. I am selling this as used because again, the hours are so low it would be hard to imagine it having issues. BUT, that said, this isn’t something you would want to hook up to a patient without it first being certified for use by a qualified technician. It is certainly possible that it does have a problem that I don’t know about, but physically it is in very good condition. The only thing I noticed is that it looks like it is missing one of two filters on the back. Untested other than as described, sold as is, and NO warranty is offered. However, IF you pay the asking price and find it has a problem you cannot live with within 14 days of receipt you may return it. Returns are ONLY allowed on Buy It Now Purchases. Accepted Best Offers are strictly an as is sale, no returns allowed. Return would be for a refund of the purchase price, not including shipping costs. Just so that we are clear on that, this is an item that has not been thoroughly tested. As such it may work fine or it may have problems, so any purchase entails a certain degree of risk. If you Buy It Now your risk is limited to the shipping costs both ways. If you submit an offer you do so knowing that you cannot return it. In either case it is up to you to decide whether the risk level is acceptable to you, and if not you need to pass on this particular item. Comes with the various hoses pictured, plus the manual and a couple of new in the box pieces- Flextube and the Main Flow Filter. Plus the instruction manual. Also includes the cart as pictured if you want it BUT the cart is NOT figured into the shipping cost calculator. I will remove the feet from the cart and ship it separately, that way we don’t have to deal with a freight shipment. I will send you a separate money request through PayPal to cover cart shipment.
