However, we have.... This wrench is laser cut from .178" thick cold roll steel as compared to the .136" thick stamped steel wrench provided as OEM Delta equipment. This 30% heavier plate thickness provides increased surface contact for better bearing on the faces of the arbor nut. The stock OEM blade wrench is 8.25" in length. This wrench is 9.50", or 15% longer for increased leverage. The handle on an OEM wrench is tapered, allowing for a marginal grip on the shank of the wrench. Our wrench has added profiling of finger grooves near the top to enable the wrench to nest easily in one's hand when removing or snug-tightening the arbor nut. Stock wrenches come with little or no surface finish. Our wrench has been deburred, sandblasted, powdercoated, and oven-baked in a high visibility red corrosion resistant plastic finish. In addition, our wrench incorporates a hole at the end of the handle for conveniently hanging the wrench for storage. The wrench head has been bent in a precision press brake to produce an 11 degree offset to keep your fingers and knuckles clear of the saw blade's teeth when tugging on the arbor nut. Not everyone needs a "special" hook as a place to hang their saw wrench, but we are now offering a neat little wrench hanger for free with each of the wrenches purchased from our latest production run. The wrench hanger requires no drilling of your UNISAW. It is installed by simply replacing either the left or right hand corner bolt that holds the saw table top to the cabinet with our custom manufactured 7/16 -20 fine thread bolt and stainless steel swivel hook.
