LKB Bromma 2128 Ultratome Microtome System For sale- an LKB Bromma 2128 Ultratome Microtome System. Comes with both the main microtome unit and the controller as pictured. Microtome is equipped with the standard Olympus Stereozoom microscope as you can see. I don’t know how to operate this thing, so it may just be a case of operator error, but I think it may need some work. If you press the Arm Drop button it will do just that, but then seems reluctant to do it again unless you turn the controller of and back on again. Just does not seem responsive to the controls in general. The large multi-pin connector that attaches to the back of the control unit is broken (pictured), but it looks like the wiring is intact, so I don’t know if that is the culprit or not. The overall condition of the ultramicrotome is very good, so I would expect that it is worth refurbishing. I am selling it for parts or repair, so there should be no need to return it, and given the weight I don’t see that being practical anyway.
