This Starret 36" Machinist Satin Chrome Tempered Steel Rule Scale was purchased a few years ago to use as a "standard" length rule for all calibration of line-up tables and scale adjustments for the printing industry. It has never been used to draw or cut against. There are no nicks in any of the scale sides or the ends.

Vintage Machinist Tumico pre Scherr Combination Square Head for Scale Hardened. Made in Minnesota by the Tumico company before the merger with Scherr. The hard smooth ground faces show no use wear just a couple dark spots that show better in the photos than in person.
