Massa Mfg Co ODYSSEY Model 2001 Security Siren Speaker Box - ELECTROACOUSTIC TRANSDUCERS - Very Good We're not sure of the total function of this item but based on the patent numbers, mostly from the 1960s, it describes the patents as relating to ELECTROACOUSTIC TRANSDUCERS OF THE BILAMINAR FLEXURAL VIBRATING TYPE Pre-owned but it seems to be in very good condition. We're not sure what all of it's functions are but it does have a siren mode that works well....and LOUD! The case is a little scuffed and the foam-like material at the front of the speaker box is a little indented but nothing serious. We're offering this item in as-is condition since we have no way of knowing all of it's functions or if they work as designed. The siren does sound. The main photo actually shows the back of the box where all of the controls are located. The front of the box is the speaker outlet covered by a foam-like material. The exterior of the box appears to be a pressed wood with dark wood grain. The markings on the back of the box read: Manufactured by Massa Corporation, Hingham, Mass 02043 Odyssey model 2001 Power input: 50-60 HZ, 120 vac, 600 watts maximum Fuse rating: 3 ag, 10 amp, 120 vac Between two 3-pronged plug-ins it says "each 300 watts max." Serial number 17264 Patent numbers: 2967957, 3128532, 3510698, 3578995, 3638052, 3707131, 3716681, 3736632, 3752941, 3777192, and other patents pending. Switches and Dials are located on the back and marked as: Power Toggle Switch: Marked: On/Off Siren Toggle Switch: Marked: On/Off Sensitivity Sliding Switch: Marked: Low / High Duration Dial: Marked: 10 to 120 in increments of 10 Sensor Dial: Marked: Off / 0 - 20 in increments of 2 The box measures 14" long x 8.25" high x 8" deep.
