Up for auction is The Met One Model 045B Calibrator. It is a portable signal source generator designed to test and calibrate meteorological stations that use the most common sensors and instruments. Additionally, it provides direct sensor end substitution for virtually all of the Met One Instruments’ sensors. Additionally, the 045B works as a direct board calibrator with the Multi-Met Model 123 and 131 translators.  Features: Traceable to NIST Battery Powered Connections for Common Sensors Multiple Test Signal Outputs Test and Adjust 2270 Cards  Operation: The calibrator connectors on the 045B allow it to be used as a direct substitute for most sensors. The 045B allows the user to select the various functions and apply a test signal directly to the input of the translator or data collection platform. Twelve outputs are available and can be selected individually by a functions switch in the calibrator. Six connectors are provided for use as standard sensor substitution, three binding posts for special sensors, and a card edge connector for the Multi-Met Translator cards.  SPECIFICATIONS Frequency Output #1: 272.77 Hz, 545.48 Hz, 1090.97 Hz 25.00 mph, 49.40 mph, 98.20 mph  Frequency Output #2: 13.41 Hz, 26.82 Hz, 53.65 Hz 25.01 mph, 49.00 mph, 97.00 mph  Precision Voltage Outputs: 0.000 Volts  0.500 Volts  0.950 Volts  2.500 Volts  5.000 Volts  Temperature: -30 Deg C. (73,449 ohms)  -10 Deg C. (42,696 ohms)  +30 Deg C. (17,092 ohms)  +50 Deg C. (10,545 ohms) Solar (Constant Current)  150 uA (15mv into 100 ohm load) Precipitation: Contact closure counting  Sensor Output Connections: Six Connectors in Front Panel  Enclosure: Weatherproof NEMA 4X case.  Power Requirement: 2 each 9 volt batteries  NOTE: It has never been used, but has been out of the original packing material for a number of years. Inside the case (see pictures) it is obvious it has never been used. Outside however, it looks like it has been sitting on a storage shelf for a number of years....which is exactly the case with this unit.
