Microcrystalline Cellulose (MCC) is the #1 filler/binder used in Pharmaceutical and vitamin formulations, due to it's inert nature.  It is the ideal excipient (inactive ingredient) for manufacturing robust, consistent, tablet formulations that exhibit superior compaction, disintegration, and intactness of the finished dose, even under very low compression forces (hand held single punches work great).   MCC is manufactured with differing particle sizes in order to accomplish powerful binding capacity under all forms of formulation techniques.  MCC 102 is typically used as a Direct Compression aide - that is, simply mixed directly with the active ingredient and compressed into tablets.  Thus, the product is an excellent candidate for wide variety of applications, including solid tablets, capsules, sachets, and pellets.   The product is non-GMO, Kosher, sugar and additive free, Gluten free, lactose free, and meets all US, EU, and JP Pharmacopoeia standards.  Manufactured using Good Manufacturing Practices in an ISO controlled environment, Packaged in the USA. Sample Rx products that contain MCC: Acetaminophen and Hydrocodone Bitartrate 500 mg / 5 mg (Watson Laboratories, Inc.) Acetaminophen and Oxycodone Hydrochloride 325 mg / 5 mg (Mallinckrodt Pharmaceuticals) Alprazolam 0.5 mg (Actavis) Cyclobenzaprine Hydrochloride 10 mg (Mylan Pharmaceuticals Inc.) Oxycodone Hydrochloride 5 mg (Mallinckrodt Pharmaceuticals) Tramadol Hydrochloride 50 mg (Teva Pharmaceuticals USA) Sample formulations: Vitamin B1 -      Thiamine hydrochloride - 100mg      Lactose Monohydrate - 100mg      Microcrystalline Cellulose - 100mg Niacin -      Nicotinamide (Niacin) - 200mg      Microcrystalline Cellulose - 100mg      Copolyvidone - 10mg      Magnesium Stearate - 2mg      Silica - 2mg Amlodipine Maleate -      Amlodipine Maleate - 3.21mg      Caclium anhydrous - 31.5mg      Microcrystalline Cellulose - 62.05mg      Sodium Starch Glycolate - 2mg      Mg Stearate - 1mg Easy manufacturing directions: Sieve and blend active ingredient and MCC (in the range of 10% - 50%) for 10 minutes, add lubricant and mix an additional 2 minutes.  Compress and check friability (1% or less).       The product is NOT manufactured in India, China, Thailand.
