We got this from a large company that used 3 rolls of labels and then shut down the system. Model Number is MO6030 and it was manufactured in 1994. The batteries are long dead and have been removed from the handles and re-cycled. I tapped in a 12 VDC power supply through the empty battery case and powered up the unit. The laser read the bar code on a soup can and rejected it. I was able to load a roll of labels in the printer and that seems to work fine. Control programs for the printer are developed in a PC application called Monarch platform. We have the software but my FLOPPY DRIVE was unable to read the disk. So, PLEASE DON”T BUYS THIS UNIT UNLESS YOU HAVE A WAY TO LOAD THE PROGRAMS! Also, I couldn’t find replacement 12 volt batteries for it. The handles contained 10 AA size NiCd batteries and could be re-filled at batteries are us or the like. We include the manual, a spare EMPTY handle, and a fast charger model 117257. We call this a dinosaur system spare part – not for new work! 4 Lbs. - Shipping UPS.   QZ 1402 01
